Be Inspired

VISUALISATIONS

Creating vivid pictures in your mind can accelerate the achievement of your goals.  Visualisation activates the creative powers of our subconscious mind. 
It helps us to notice resources that are around us that may have gone unrecognized, it also brings people that we need into our lives and brings us opportunities that we can benefit from.

Your brain does not differentiate between visualising or imagining and the real thing.  As you visualize you create a neural pathway in your brain that prepares you for the actuality.  Highly successful athletes use this all the time to  continue to develop their abilities.

You can do the same as you begin to see your goal in your mind as though already achieved or attained.  Make your images bright and vivid, colour stimulates the mind.

As you use the process of visualisations you can make declarations, which are powerful positive statements over your life.  Declare that which you are looking for, desirous of and working towards.  It must be something within your own control, that is, do not make declarations over other people’s lives.  You have authority over your own life only so simply speak your truth with intensity, emotion and belief, remember our words are very powerful and we should use them for us instead of against us.

Another important tool is attitude, be thankful, appreciative and grateful.  Be grateful for what you have already, what you have already achieved or attained.  Look at your successes so far and acknowledge them, look at your currents blessings and be thankful.  Look at the people in your life who have been a gift to you, who have been positive, supporting, encouraging and helpful.  Take time to thank them.

 

HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnosis is a state of relaxation and concentration at the same time and you are in a state of heightened awareness. It is a natural trance state, like daydreaming, when the mind is relaxed and focused, where time passes very quickly, accompanied by good feelings of deep relaxation of mind and body.

Hypnotherapy is a treatment that is based on the premise that the mind and body do not work in isolation. By sending the patient into a hypnotic state, the therapist aims to trigger the body's mental and physical self-healing processes that lie in the subconscious.

Anybody can be sent into a hypnotic state; it is not a sign of gullibility or suggestibility on the part of the patient. Hypnosis induces a state of relaxation and concentration that is a natural manifestation of the mind at work.
When undergoing hypnotherapy, you are conscious and aware, but are open to the power of suggestion. You cannot be induced to do anything against your will.

Hypnotherapy can be used to renew your thinking and break out of old limited beliefs and behaviour patterns that have held you back in the past.  It can help to reinforce positive thoughts and messages and help to instigate action to achieve goals.  It supports you in your determination, focus and personal growth.

It is a process that can greatly reduce stress, anxiety and support the immune system and speed healing. Hypnotherapy is useful for treating a variety of complaints, both physical and mental. Used in conjunction with other therapies, hypnotherapy can help to overcome certain psychological complaints, including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, depression, phobias, and neuroses.

It can also help alleviate some of the symptoms of physical complaints like allergies, travel sickness, insomnia and irritable bowel syndrome. Used in conjunction with conventional medical treatment, hypnotherapy has demonstrated positive benefits in the treatment of cancer.

Hypnotherapy is also useful in providing general health benefits, such as improving posture and digestion, reducing dependence on sleeping pills or tranquillisers, and helping to eradicate stress.

Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching

Hypnotherapy is extremely useful in life coaching, Our thoughts, habits and feelings memories are stored in our unconscious minds and hypnotherapy allows direct access to these issues without talking about them again and again. This way you can change habits and overcome successfully issues without re-living them. Hypnotherapy works because it reaches the root of an issue safely and with ease and comfort, all the time allowing the person to remain calm and relaxed.

 

DECLARATIONS

Declarations are powerful statements to be said with intensity, focus, passion and excitement. Very effective after times of meditation, prayer or relaxation.  Here are some that can be used or adapted for your own use.

Declarations for Self esteem and Confidence

Declarations for Inner Peace

  • I make inner peace my priority
  • I release the need for other people’s approval
  • I release my feelings of obligations to others
  • I understand struggle is optional… I allow life to be peaceful and easy
  • I choose to be calm, centred and peaceful, over having to be right
  • I release the need to be perfect
  • I am willing to ask for and receive assistance from others and from God
  • I succeed with ease, elegance and joy
  • I am open to miracles occurring for me in my life
  • With every passing moment I am more and more at peace
